A friend of mine at work and his wife just recently announced that she was pregenant with their very first child. Unfortunately, I learned today that she had a miscarriage. I feel very badly for them.

That is hard. I just read about a story like that in the book I'm reading. It's sad. I hope they deal with it OK, but...
