I would to give a special "Thank You" to each person that commented in my last journal. Both my friend and his wife are doing great! They're gonna be just fine.

In completely unrelated news, what in the hell is up with the whole Astronomy thing going on here lately? One day, I read that new planets have been discovered. Today, I read that Pluto...

Well, I can't blame people for being curious about outer space and planets and galaxies and all that. I'm sure there are still plenty of people working towards a better Earth. Maybe more than you think!

Okay here are my recommendations, you've probably heard of most of them but just in case here they are:
1349, Marduk, Impaled Nazarine, Sodom, Abyssic hate, Carcass, Immortal, Xasthur, Disgorge, Impaled, Entombed, Bathory, Suffocation, Neurosis.
These are the probably some of the most popular black/death metal bands, and I see in your band listings you already like Behemouth and Emporer, so you'll most likely enjoy some of these too.
Hope this helps you, and I hope you like the Venom cd!!! wink

I got some rather sad news at work today. One of my co-workers (who is also a friend outside of work) called us at work today with news that his wife had a miscarriage last night. This would have been their second child. I feel very badly for them, but (in good news) they're both very intelligent and strong-willed people. I feel that they'll be...

Sorry to hear about your friend frown a miscarriage is always hard to deal with because it is for all practical purposes and especially for the family a death... but people don't expect others to mourn like they would had they lost a member of their family.... we have had quite a few miscarriages in our family.

and... that is a much higher number than I would have though.

It's been so nice this weekend. Other than meeting some family members for dinner last night, I literally haven't done a damn thing that could be called worthwhile. biggrin

I hope everyone has had a great weekend.

Glad you enjoyed the journal entry. smile

Sounds like a fabulous weekend. I haven't spent one like that in AGES. And I doubt I ever will once I move to NY! Oh, well. I can always move back to the South. tongue

Okay, here's one more entry about work, and it's a good one. We had our first new team meeting today, and you could just feel the synergy between us all. Everyone's very pleased, and there was so much positive energy in the room. This is something that I haven't felt since I've been there, and we're talking two plus years. It means so much to...

Yeah....actually? I spent an hour sitting here today in the 'Spillin the Beans' thread, and actually tried (I did!) to admit and open up to info...But I couldn't!!

I am seriously considering it though since there is about 7 people on Earth that know anything about it....

And if you are looking to gain some knowledge...? I ALWAYS live by the rule:

"Those who Do not know, say, Yet those who know, Do not say"

...Not sayin you'll never hear anythinhg, Its just a good rule to live by, and also think about when collecting info....Some people are Too fuckin quick on a story....ya gotta watch for it. (Worse than Psi Vamps...seriously)

Like I said....I am thinkin bout it...wink

Today has been such a good day, and tomorrow will be as well. Now it's only one more day 'til the weekend.

This weekend I will be meeting various family members for various occasions. I have divorced parents after all. surreal

ontothenext:
Aww, thanks anyway!

Have a nice weekend! smile

Well, only two more days 'til the weekend. Sweet!

Has anyone seen Talladega Nights yet? I haven't yet, but I plan to. Speaking of Ricky Bobby, these commercials crack me up:

Ricky Bobby #1

Ricky Bobby #2

Oh, hi, I didn't see you there. biggrin biggrin biggrin

Unfortunately, my agressive driving habits spilled into Tuesday morning. I was "that guy" today. I did the flashing lights thing to people in the left lane and obnoxiously passed them in the corresponding right lane if they didn't move over. I admit that I do get a mildly sadistic pleasure out of that. **Evil Grin**

So how are the fine people of SG Land doing tonight? Today has been a good day. It's been a quiet, uneventful Monday (uneventful in a good way, I mean). I gave a friend a ride to work today because his car was in the shop, so I did my good deed for the day. Speaking of driving to work, I really need to slow...

Fine, thanks for asking. I actually had a very eventful monday, I went to a big concert and it was awesome. NOFX played, a bunch of local bands and some really amazing metal core bands too. biggrin

Thanks for checking out my journal! Yes, my kitty is doing quite well. Poor boy, he has to be neutered. I don't want to do it to him, but he's not safe in the city with his manhood intact!

How come you LOVE that pic, it's really nothing special tongue But thank you anyway. And yeah aspartame... insane is what it is. I'll NEVER drink or eat anything with it innit again if I can... I feel SO much better since I quit. I really think that shit can drive people mad and sick. Scary.

Okay, this will be my last journal about work for awhile (I semi-promise). I am so very happy with my new team of people. We all have terrific chemistry. Finally, everything feels right. I'm big on "chemistry" in relationships...both in the personal and professional life. It's essential, I feel.

Yuck. I hate kiss-asses. I work with some of those, and when our evil bossmen visit, they make fools of themselves with the way they suck up. And they hate them just as much as I do. I just can't lower myself to that level. They will get professional courtesy from me, but if they want their asses kissed, they should hire someone else to do it.

A much happier day at work today...things are getting progressively better. I apologize for my boring ass entries these days. They pale by comparison to my other friends here. I promise to make up for it. wink
