So this weekend just gone was my birthday weekend. I am now the grand old age of 31. Massive thanks to Qwerty, Enzela, and Salem who all sent me birthday wishes. You ladies are awesome.
Friday I had the day off, and my housemates Glen and Liz took me out for lunch at this great place where we live. I had the most amazing Chicken Schnitzel Burger. Yum! Then we did a little record shopping where I managed to pick up the new Weapons Of Mass Creation album on vinyl for el cheapo. After some chillage, and some quality time with my record collection, we downed a pizza and some beers and headed out for my DJ gig in Islington where we met up with a few more friends. The gig was really good fun, and I got to play a stack of hip hop that I haven't played in years, and actually got the place jumpin' as a result. Trying to sort out some pics of the night at the moment, will post when I have them.
Saturday I planned my trip back to the Westcountry to see my sis, got the bus at 3pm and got down there around 5:30. My sis, her boyfriend, myself, and our friends Dave and Rob went out to this fantastic Mexican restaurant that I'd randomly found on Google. It turned out to be amazing food, and the beers and tequila weren't bad either! Luckily I managed to eat enough not to have a hangover. That and the tequila was a little pricey, but worth it.

Sunday was spent getting up late, seeing the family and then heading back to London after popping by my house to pick up (finally) my Guitar Hero 2! After a long and boring journey back I pottered about online, made a lengthy phone call, and then played some GH2 until about 1am, then couldn't sleep til about 4ish. I'm thinking that my lack of sleep on the nights before I go to work are no coincidence. Hopefully either my job gets better, or I have to find a new one.
