Bad end to a great week.
Good things that happened this week:
1. I managed to get meetings at Radio 1, so will next week be putting on my "plugging" hat and trying to get them to play one of our new singles, and hopefully adding it to the playlist.
2. On my own label, I've managed to get a load of new content up on some digital stores, and also wangled a review in some mags and websites of the newest release (out 30th Apr). Also got some great supportive emails from big DJ's that are supporting it too!
3. It's been gorgeous weather.
4. Heard some of the new Tori Amos album, and it's fantastic!
5. Sorted out (as far as I can tell) a problem we were having with our internet, so I can now do my radio show without too much panic.
Lovely week so far.
Today, I went out to my car to head back to Somerset for the weekend, and what did I find? Some ARSEHOLE (and I don't use that word too often mind) had broken into my car by bending the top of the door to unlock it. Now my driver's door is shagged and will have to go in for repair. Bunch of savages in this town!
They didn't even find anything they wanted to steal either, so I now have a busted up door for no reason.
Oh well, karma's a bitch as they say, so someone's got some payin' to do! Hopefully the pleasure/pain balance will sort itself out as far as I'm concerned.
Got back to my sister's place and rocked out for a bit on GH2. Still working on the easy and medium levels - practice makes perfect though. Really wanna lock down Them Bones!
