Well today's been a strange day already. I set my alarm extra early this morning to make sure I was up for SG Radio (what better way to start a Monday morning), but was woken up by my best mate asking if our cat was in my room. I say "our" cat - what I actually mean is the cat that lives in our house, but actually belongs to my housemate Liz. I hadn't seen him on my return to London (at midnight) and apparently the last time he'd been seen was around 2:00pm yesterday.
He's pretty much a totally indoor cat, and has been all his life. He rarely ventures outside and if we let him out there, we always supervise. There were two possibilities:
1. He's somewhere in the house, got stuck somewhere or something, and passed away (he is 12 btw).
2. He got outside and locked out there, either front of the house or at the back, no one heard him scratching to get back in (it's a big house, always music playing) and he's gone elsewhere.
We searched the house from top to bottom and there was no sign. Liz was distraught - he's like a child to her.
It's now 12:30 (ish) and still no news.

He'll be back, my bastard cat, did this the other day, I swear just to freak me out.
