SOME THINGS THAT MAKE ME VERY HAPPY:

listening to jimmy scott while soaking in the bath
getting long letters from friends far away
eating miso soup while watching the snow fall
the way my kitty touches my face with her paw
watching my daughter read her favorite book
seeing my friends find real love
holding babies when they are brand new
french toast made with cinnamon bread

When i was little, I loooooooooved toast with butter and this great mix of cinnamon and sugar that my daddy made me.

I called them "salt sandwhiches" for some reason.

I ask my boy to make them sometimes now, and usually slip and say "baby? will you make me some salt sandwiches?". He thinks it's really cute.
