Well, it will be a great lost to this community if you do decide to leave. I feel for the people here, because they will be missing out on an incredible person. You've brought some smiles to people's faces here, just like you have many times over the years for me.
I feel priviledged to know you in real life as well as here. It was nice having you here. It was like we lived in the same town again.
I understand your decision if you leave though and you know I always support you in whatever adds to your happiness.

about the Legendary pink dots: alas! there are lots and lots of American bands I don't know. But I'm not unwilling to expand my musical tastes...

I just read your post from yesterday. Are you still going to discontinue your membership? I hope not. I knew that thread was going to turn into some hard feelings and accomplish nothing. I tried to get Dia to see that, but she has oviously had some bad experiences with this site and is living in fear. I believe she means well, but she is just a young kid who needs to learn some social graces and tact. It seems most people involved have cooled down. I was hoping this place was above flame wars, but when you get people of all types together. Oh well, I glad it's over. I hope you stick around.

No no no! Its great that youre a proud mom, if you weren't it wouldn't be right. Somepeople have issues with kids and they don't keep them private. It really made me happy that you were such a proud mom (and for good reason) and on this site!
Oh well, if its not making you happy there is no reason to keep doing it.
Sorry that things got so fucked up here with the mothers. The world could use more moms like you.

thank you morgan & orchid! but the thing is, I dont do much more then hang out with my kid. when I thought I could speak freely about her wonderfulness, I was a happy SG member..now I feel like talking about my life makes others feel "icky".
