Today we are back underway to the great beyond. I am tired after a long day of running around helping take care of the ship before we left and we had alot of problems here and there. Moving around all the floats while working over the side was a major hassle in the heavy wind and bulky seas. My back is feeling a little strained so that sucks but thats a part of the job. I would love to take a hot shower right now as I am covered in dirt and paint and dust. We have finally secured and I have watch from midnight to 3 again so thats a nice amount of sleep for me again. Always a major bonus as far as I can see. It was good though to see so many people around the ship from the Master Chiefs to the officers to the enlisted all working together and having fun today. I was shocked at how they pulled together, we never.. I mean never do that. Tomorrow will be good I hope not too much planned other than watch and maybe cleaning out some spaces around the ship. Just another Navy day! Have a good night
