whew. time for a breather. getting used to "working" after an extended FUN-employment gig. so far so good. getting along w/ co-workers, managers, and customers fairly well. good to have people excited to be where i work. since today is the first day off in a week, decided to play pool last nite w/ a friend who needed a nite out away from the girlfriend. found the car covered in snow this afternoon. must have missed the flurry. good to see snow. it's actually one thing i miss about chicago. yes, call me crazy, but snow seems like a novelty here in portland, and although i'm glad i don't have to shovel the car out from two feet of snow, i do miss the stuff.

I think the reason that drama doesn't come to my apt is that no one except my brother (who is in the apt next door - I'm in unit b he's in unit c) knows where I live. I'm thinking I will keep it that way.
On the other hand, I'm looking for a room mate... Already turned down 3 people.
