Every now and then...
I start to feel like the concerts I go to mark certain events in my life like chapters in a book. It's quite an odd concept. Last Saturday I went to see the fabulous Tori Amos. I'm sure there are a ton of Tori fans here, in this vast SG space. It's pretty hard to describe her show in a few simple words...dazzling comes to mind. Support act The Ditty Bops were amazing! I sampled the CD in-store a few weeks back and I thought it sounded ok, but seeing them live brought out the real feelings in the songs...there's something about live music, mmm.
My dear old friend Donna is moving to Calgary this week, I'm a bit sad but at the same time I sort of remain emotionally detached from her departure. I suppose too much going on with me these days. Registering for night school, Boston trips to be had, more films and concerts to be seen.
