I read every night have done for most of my life, I just cannot get to sleep without reading something. It is strange that I read so much but can't spell to save my life. I climbed into bed and shock and horror my book had finished trust a sci-fi writer to fill the last 100 pages with glossary, frikkin punk. It is like an idiots guide to the book, what an idiot puts an explanation for all the words after I have read it.

I have a few books that I have not read so I look at the shelf " Hemmingway or Fleming" could not be further apart, but finally settle on Fleming, could be nice to read some James Bond, it is amazing how popular culture has changed over the last 40 to 50 years. I have another book on how to be bond, drink heavy, smoke at least 60 unfiltered cigarettes a day, sleep with as many people as possible, save the world, never exercise unless necessary, never get attached. Could be a recipe for success.

The company where I work makes paper, and there is a complete rush reading something on paper that is 50 years old, it has a completely different texture, the pages become tactile almost alive.

Well what a weekend to come the Super 14 Finals, I hope everyone has a excellent weekend. Go the Bulls.

Sappi or Mondi? Lee's partner's wife works for Sappi up here smile

I'm exactly the same - just cannot get to sleep without reading something whatever

I recently started collecting 1st edition, hard-cover Patricia Cornwell novels, & although they're only like a decade or so old, you're right, there's something really awesome about older paper love
