I've just spent a wonderful weekend, full of events.
Last wednesday ROBOT festival started at the town main theatre, with a great live by carl craig & the innerzone orchestra. Then the festival continued in several locations like re enzo palace and link club, with many live sets of digital music, performances ecc...as usually we partied hard!
Yesterday I had a really great time with my friends in Ferrara, a small city quite near Bologna; here was cold and rainy, there was sunny and warm..a perfect day to ride!! we went to "our" velodrome, it's in a state of abandonment since many years; but yesterday for the first time we discovered it locked!
but we didn't give up, so we founded an hidden path and we managed to enter again! we spent there several hours, and we're thinking about putting our chain to the gate and then remove the other, as the junkies do with the bikes in our quarter!
after all that hard work, we did a really deserved aperitif in a place called ariostea from the poet Ariosto, and then in a very nice place with live music called Zuni.
Last days many people told to see me in a great form or something like a new light in my eyes. it seems strange to me so I answered them that probably I cried so much that my eyes are clean now
I don't want bad vibes around me anymore, only good friends. I break off with all the people who was source of bad feelings and I refounded some friendships that really count to me. among these friends, I'm so sad that my friend Giulia will go back to NY very soon. maybe tomorrow will be the last day we spend together; we'll be in Milan with our dear friend Dalila, we want to see this exhibition at "la fabbrica del vapore" and then to sponge some beers around.
and, last but not least, I'm leaving for London, alone. I really have to take an holyday cause I spent also august at home. I need to disconnect my mind from the events of last months and I think some days abroad will make me se everything in a different way. I'll go to the london tattoo convention for sure, at the moment I don't know if I'll get ink or not but I read that Thomas Hooper will have a stand there as one year ago, and I want to book for getting my feets tattooed by him in april 2010, when I'll be in NY hosted by Giulia. finally, cause it's a very long time I'm looking for getting a tattoo from him!
