Okay this post is about my dad. who was surprised there?
I spent about 6 hours in the hospital yesterday. When I first got up there I just walked straight in to the ICU without knocking or ringing the bell or doing anything to warn anyone. I got told off for that.
My dad is looking far better than he has in a while. He is having major problem talking it being very quiet and hard to understand. But at least he is talking
. He is on Dialysis once a day every day while in the ICU. There talking about moving him to Ward 9 again.
I haven't really been taking care of myself for a few days. So I have a short temper. I don't take my temper out on people unless they give me a good reason. Dr Murray gave me a few good reason's. He ignored me when walking into a room. Talked about my dads condition in front of me but not to me. He looked down his nose at me quite a bit as well. Anyone who knows me in real life can tell you this is not a good way to treat me.
So when he stopped talking to the other Dr's and Department Staff and deemed it worthy to look in my direction I looked him in the eye and asked "Who are you?". He stammered something about being bad at introductions and sorry before telling me he was Dr Murray. I then asked him if he was who I asked question's of. he stammered that you can ask I might not be able to answer though.
Me: My dad has Septicaemia due to to having a temporary Dialysis operation performed instead of the full operation. I understand you did this in a emergency but I also assume my dad is higher up this list for a full operation now. Is that correct?
Dr Murray: Well yes we did perform the operation on your dad in a hurry because he needed it. But right now were trying to get your dad healthy again before talk of any other operations.
Me: Ok how long do you think it will be given your currant progress until you beat the Septicaemia and can consider my dad healthy enough for the full operation?
Dr Murray: We don't like to think that way here we prefer to just what we can now this is ICU.
Me: I don't know if my dad has asked you or one of his other Dr's but I want to donate a kidney to my father how soon do you think until you can let this happen safely?
Dr Murray: We need to lower your dad's heart rate, blood pressure, and cure his septicaemia first and of course you would have to be subjected to mental and psychiatric testing to determine your suitability in case you feel bad if his body rejects your kidney.
I REALLY don't like my dad's Dr. My dad has not had a normal heart rate or blood pressure in the last 4 years how the hell do you think your going to make it happen now? Where you holding back the good shit or something? Then implying I might not be emotionally stable enough to accept that I wasn't able to help my dad despite trying. I really don't like the guy
All my friends here and in off-line world and being pretty amazing and offering lot's of support. Hell even Sarah is being mature and helpful towards me. Which I am a little shocked over.
Naiya Thank you hunny without you joining this site to model I never would have joined and I wouldn't have been able to get any of this out of my system and I truly think that I would have done something stupid a few weeks ago with everything that has been happening with my dad.

I am glad you are getting in the dr.s face about everything...dont back down!!...when my mom was in the hospital for her hip replacement, and things got bad for a bit, I asked tons of questions, until I was satisfied, and didnt care if I offended the dr.s,...since when do they do pyshcological testing to donate??....I havenever heard of that...I do hope your dad is resting comfortably...and if you can, see if there are other dr's to talk to about this...are any other family members with you at the hospital?...and you need to take care of yourself, i know its really hard to do right now, but you need your strength right now.....I wish I could actually be at the hospital with you.
