Well I played basketball against Ryan and Kenn.
Ryan is only 10 and a lot smaller then me and Kenn so I told him to stand closer.
We played around a bit just taking shots and warming up.
Then Kenn suggested we do best out of 5.
Both myself and Kenn shoot and miss but Ryan proceeds to sink his first shot.
The 2nd and 3rd attempts no one makes any baskets.
The 4th and 5th attempts I was the only one to score.
I win 2 Vs 1 Vs 0
Kenn got beat by a 10 year old.
I then make my normal suggestion of a first to 5 shoot till you miss.
Both myself and Kenn Miss but Ryan scores again on his first shot but can't sink the second attempt. I shoot and score 2 in a row before failing to make the next basket. Kenn missed again ad Ryan scored AGAIN but AGAIN fails to sink the second. I shoot and score 2 in a row again before missing. Both Ryan and Kenn manage to sink a basket but not the follow up shot
.Myself and Ryan miss but Kenn makes a basket but fails to go for 2 in a row. We all miss every shot we take for about 5 turns now. Eventually after Kenn saying "oh you might get beat James you have lost your skill" I sink and basket and turn around and smile at him. Kenn and Ryan decide to keep playing. Kenn misses his shot but Ryan scores. Its not 4 to Ryan and 2 to Kenn. They both spend the next 5 turns missing everything but the backboard. Until Ryan scores and once again Kenn was beat by a 10 year old.
We decide to call it a day and I go to Kenn's and we play some chess.
The score so far is 2 - 1 to me.
We played for a few minutes just making the usual moves. Then out of no where Kenn just zips his queen over supported by his bishop and checkmates me. It took 20 minutes all in all but it was so unexpected and fast I didn't know what to think. I was stunned.
We played again and this was a slower more predictable game. We both did backup supporting of pawns then I swooped a horse in to put him in check supported by a pawn then jumped the horse over to snatch his bishop. Kenn responded by bring his queen out to defend his left flank then I swooped my queen over to take his bishop. Then Kenn ran his queen the length of the board to take a queen and threaten my half of the board. I quickly moved a castle into defensive around my king and set about taking his backline apart with my queen bishop combo. Kenn started doing the same to my backrow with his queen slowed somewhat by my castle. In a final move I abandoned my king and moved the castle into a checkmate position to win the game giving me back my 1 game lead over Kenn.
I now plan to sit her for a few hours and chill. Also I need to make a magic deck for Kenn to use tomorrow when he comes to the club.
