Oh wow how the time flies!
Well Summer has come to an end, and what a journey it's been this year! Honestly, this is the only year that I have ever looked back upon and wished I could redo! Very little good has come out of this year with the exception on the new banner I'm flying on my truck, and Nereid's job.
Though the change of banners has made things stressful (It's never easy going from the top man to the bottom of the pole!), I think it will pay off in spades this winter. Former clients are beginning to call me now, and as of this morning I am flat out for at least the next month.
Nereid was born for her position working with HIV+ individuals in the area!
As for the family situation? Well honestly, things just continue to get worse! (Really didn't think it was possible!) I am at a complete loss as to what to do there! The only way it's going to change is for me to bite the bullet and become as phoney as they are, and forget about what happened to Kenya! Somehow I just don't see that happening. Damn how I miss that mutt!
We do have another pup. Timbra is a lot more than a handful to say the least! But she's coming along. She was already ten months old when we got her, and breaking her of her ways has been difficult.
Friends has been another area this year that has been more difficult. Perhaps that's because we never had any before! lol! But life does carry on, and as we have learned, no friends can't be replaced, but we can get out there and meet more fabulous people who may become friends too, tho we've just never been able to find that comfort that we had with others! It's all a part of life! RIGHT?
We have continued on with the lifestyle, though that will certainly slow down now that work is becoming busy. We have had some great experiences with it (and some not so great!), and it has brought Nereid and I closer than ever before.... Damn but we have some strange conversations in the hot tub! LOL
And of course there is Nereid. As always, words just can't properly express how much I love that woman! AFAAD!!! Babe!
