I don't even know where to begin! Imperfectly and maverik75 are constantly proving they are the absolute best friends a person could ever hope for! The success of our trip to the Sunshine Coast was so very unfortunately overshadowed by a phone call I received Saturday at 4:03 p.m. Our 2 year old pup had just been killed by a car back home. I can't believe the amount of grief I felt/am still feeling. I can honestly say I can not remember EVER having felt the way I feel. And it's all the harder because Nereid is in the same boat, and I feel like I'm letting her down because I'm not being strong enough to help her through her own grief. If anything, she has been MY rock. And Imperfectly.... what do you say about a woman like her!? Maverik75?

You know... I know Kenya was just a dog. But our animals are almost more family to us than our human relatives. Our animals have ALWAYS been our children. Nereid and I at this point in our lives have stated we do not want kids. Our animals are our children and we just have so much love for them! I don't know, some of you will get it and some of you won't. The gentleman that phoned me with the news was so fucking amazingly compassionate about it. Thank God is wasn't just some redneck asshole phoning to say "yo man your dog is dead"!

Now there seems so many other issues that need to be dealt with. Nereid's brother was in charge of our animals at the time. So many other issues.

I just want to crawl into a hole and cry.

I'm sorry Kenya! SO SO SO VERY SORRY!!!!!
