Well today was a total waste. Laid down in the guest room about 9:30 this morning just to take in the vibe, and ended up waking up at 2:45 this afternoon to the phone ringing. So much for cleaning house and getting ready to tackle the master bedroom (which will hopefully be started this weekend.)
Our oldest dog Teq is so skittish in new surroundings. She's the first one to blatantly not like the new floor. She won't walk on it! It was funny watching her try to make the leap from the doorway to the bed without touching the floor. Very cute.
Guess the three couples are getting together Friday nite for pot luck dinner and games. I have to say... I could get used to this. Definitely nice to have people to look forward to seeing. Good times.

Haha, at practicum today I decided to "rest my eyes" during the kid's fifteen minute recess and I ended up sleeping through half an hour of practicum... Ooops! (Luckily the teacher was amused rather than angry)

i can so see Teq doing that. when i installed new carpeting, of all things, one of the cats was very hesitant to walk across it. hmmm. but that is different than a slippery floor which may be the problem with Teq? animals are so weird sometimes.
