Hospitals Suck Ass!!!

So mom called just after midnight, her heart condition out of control. I go get her and run her to emergency. To their credit, they got her in immediately, then promptly forgot me! So there I was, sitting for two hours wondering what the hell was going on. They suck ass. But mom's fine even tho she has to stay the rest of the night. And really, I guess it is about her, and not me.

The shit gets better... I had to work at 5. I called the hospital at 8:45am to see what time they were sending her home. They told me it wouldn't be today. I asked them to let her know I called. Then I called her work to tell them she wouldn't be in today. She called at about 10. No idea that I had called. She was panicked about work... I told her I had already called them and she wondered how I knew to...nice ! THEN.... I stuck my head in at noon between jobs... she was sleeping so I dropped off a couple books and then went to the nurses station to see what was up and when the specialist would be in to see her... for fifteen minutes I stood there and was completely ignored... well not totally... I tried talking to one nurse, and she acknowledged me by informing me she wasn't really there... it was her day off!!

Good Old Albertan Health Care at it's finest... They can all go fuck their hats!

But hey... enough ranting... thanks for the thoughts all... just another reason this site rocks. The support is wonderful!


But nurses CAN go get fucked!
