Can somebody PLEASE explain todays youth to me.... 5:30 this morning the phone rings.... one of my new hires decided not to show up for work... so I had to head into the shop, start making calls and get another guy in asap and then phone the client and explain how my crew is going to be late.
Three months ago I hired three guys... not a one of them made it longer than three months... apparently getting up and going to work is "un-hip" these days... Last week I hired three more guys... one down two to go...
I just do not understand it... when I broke out in this industry... the complaint was...."when will I work more?"
Today it's "No thanks... I don't think I'll work today... oh, but you're still going to pay me right!?"
