So...
I just came back from Birthright Israel. Ten days of... erm... it's hard to explain. I need to gather my thoughts. It was a profound and life-changing experience...
Don't worry, fellow atheists... I didn't find God
. But I did find a much stronger connection to my Jewish heritage, a new homeland, new friends, and a greater respect for an incredible country. It was nice to put reality to the myth, finally. I'll write more in another post, once I've gathered my thoughts. But for now, here's my Facebook album from the trip:
