Well, first of all, I didn't get to go to the fashion show that I talked about going to, you know the one that the cool cute hippie girl was doing; I didn't make it because I had no transportation. To top it off, I haven't seen her on the bus for weeks, so I haven't had a chance to explain myself; remember she was my platonic-only-ride-the-bus-together-in-the-morning-to-go-to-work-no-phone-number-she-has-a-boyfriend relationship. As I said, I think she's awesome, and it sucks that I didn't get to see her fashion show.

Ok, so today I called in sick from my full time job, so that I could jump through bureaucratic hoops to get put on as my mother's care provider with the county. This also kind of sucks, the jumping through hoops, except that I got to hang out with an old friend because he lives in the town where I had to jump through hoops. We spent the day together, saw some other friends, and also got to hang out with my friend's son who is a cool kid.
