me being the head coach, it's my job to say apox to the govering bodies at my resort, and build shit so we can get sick or wreck ourselves trying. We built a booter on the roll off the chair 2 on tuesday, our kids start throwing nose grab 7s, corked 5s, 9s front and back, double front flips. Tried to step to our kids, Nick Terry snapped a bolt on his binding and busted the heelcup on one failed swoop, and jacked his ankle
he felt like a pussy, there are kids laying in the there with seprated shoulders, busted arms, bleeding from the head, and he's just got a bum wheel
we tosed up another pratice jump today (30ft deck) my kids got board quickly, so we moved onto sesioning the down flat down box. it wasn't long before we started to gap the the last down, i tired to blaze the way in stepping, went for a backside 270, landed a little on my feel edge, so i rocked my weight forwardand feel flat knocking out half a tooth. Cortez screams up sticks the trick i failed, Ryan steps him and throws a frontside switch, damn near cleared the whole thing and barely tapped the box. He tries it again and slows down a hair to much, set up to land on the down, he bounces off the knuckle of the flat, he lands flat on his back and rolls over dead limp, he's out cold. he comes to quickly but is dazed
this was his first concution, so he's was looped by it, "dude we're in the highlands?" and "when did we get a down flat down box" he started to panic when partol showed up, as soon as they tried to put a neck brace on his him he started crying "why is my neck broken?". he started to get his head back as we were loading him onto the sled. "dude today is sunday the 2nd witch sucks because i got school tomorrow" it was kind of endrearing looking down at his sobby face as he said "Thanks Paulie" he has never been through this shit, so i was talking him through it
as we loaded him into the meat wagon, i told him "dude you get to miss school tomorrow because you thumped your melon" he cracked a good smile
he will be out rideing on tuesday, Nick will still be down and out though
