okay so clearly i need the idiot's guide for posting pics on SG, i got instructions from someone else, but i am sick and blonde, and i know nothign about using blogs and such. so if someone could help me telling me the easiest way humanly possilbe to add pics on my journal that would be killer!!!

select the picture u wanna put in your journal.. right click.. copy the propeties.. (the url link) then go to your journal entry and click image.. paste the link.. and it's done..

First you need to have a picture some where on the internet. For example in you pics folder.
Second, right click on the picture and
select copy image address.
When you update your journal click on the image link on the right of the smilies and paste the image link by right clicking and selecting paste. Then press okay.
That's it.

on SG, the easiest way to post an image is to click on the Image link, under INSERT, right next to the comment text box. it pops up another window and you put the image url in there http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y14/plastic_heart/valkyrie44.jpg and click OK.
that inserts into the comment box: [IMG]http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y14/plastic_heart/valkyrie44.jpg[/IMG]
and after you hit SUBMIT you'll see:
