Time for some rampant updatery.
As is often the case, I don't remember when events took place, (due to an inconsistant memory, often coupled with alcohol,) so I'm not sure when this picture was taken:

but yes, that is my girlfriend's hand alighting on the inimitable Kristoph's ginger chest wig. I might have to have words, especially since they were going to get a hotel room the other day while I was at work. I wouldn't mind quite so much but she entered into a similar arrangement with former member theduke only days before! Bah.
Speaking of:

it's now been a month, (well four weeks,) since we did the hook up thing. I'm very happy and she is teh awesome. </gush>
So what else?
Well I'll tell you if you give me a second you inquisitive little whippersnapper!
Over the weekend I helped my friend Suze move house. She's going to be just around the corner from me, (well, 5 mins walk,) and close to Em and her boyfriend Seb, who shares with Em. Basically we're slowly taking over Bedminster and Southville, and with Kristoph living in the area too, things can only get worse for the rest of the community. Suze is going to join SG soon, so as soon as I have a username for her, I want you all to go add her as a friend and show her around, like she was the new kid at junior school, as many of you did with the wonderful foundry on Zamuzel's behalf. She's also coming to Kristoph's birthday meet on the Saturday, so some of you lucky folks will get to meet her ahead of time. We also went into town on Sat where I gazed longingly at an N95 (I'm allowed to upgrade from April 1st...) and spent 50 on clothes from TK Max, (2 really nice Planet Earth shirts, a jumper and 2 pairs of pants.) which was cool as I haven't bought any clothes in ages as I tend to get the odd freebie from work.
Work is much the same, although I finally got the loan to pay for my car from them, so at least I can pay my mate back. Also, he's found the front to the stereo, which is great. The car has a pretty awesome looking setup - 6 cd changer plus amps and large subwoofer in the boot, but I've been unable to test it because he couldn't find the front and I hate driving without tunes.
Sadly my boss couldn't decide how much of a raise to give me apparently, so I didn't get one this month, even though it was promised. I am not a happy camper. He's off sailing his fucking boat off Scotland somewhere this week, but we will be having words when he gets back. Mine will be short and to the point - I'm going to let my facial expressions convey most of my displeasure. This has worked very well for me in the past - most people tend to know when I'm rather annoyed and find me slightly unnerving judging by past responses.
Yesterday I had a day off in order to attend my assesment to see just how fruit loops I am and the answer was - *drum roll* not as much as I thought. The psychiatric nurse I saw said she didn't think I had full blown bipolar disorder as my 'manic' phases didn't seem to last long enough according to what I'd told her and also I didn't seem to engage in risky, out of character behaviours whilst in that state. So there we go. No meds, no therapy, but I was offered a support group to attend and told to consult my GP at moments when I felt at one extreme or another.
So after that revelation, we had a wander into town and bought some snazy new pants and socks, (No, there are no pictures for you of me in any of my new pants. Believe me, you'd only end up scooping your eyeballs out with a blunt spoon before pouring bleach into your newly vacated eye sockets and gargling with acid. It's what Pinklet has to do most days, bless her. Well, that and put up with my snoring. I swear one night she's going to clothes-peg my nose just to see what happens.
) and I gazed longingly at the N95 again only to be told it would cost me 130 to upgrade. Hmm. Pinks provided the voice of reason and told me to wait until Saturday, when I would definitely have the money if I still wanted to get it. I'm also looking for a decent digital camera - any suggestions? I want one with a good macro mode, decent lens, at least 3x optical zoom, anything over about 5mp, small enough to fit in a pocket and preferably 100-200 ish range. Maybe a lot to ask? I've heard that Sony's Cybershot and Fuji's Finepix range are decent.

A sony one might be better as I already have a 1GB memory card I could use with it from my current phone.
Anyway, we had a nice afternoon, and then headed over to Bath, had a quick munch in Subway and then went for our free massages. Someone I work with is training to be a massage therapist and wanted volunteers. Ace.
So here's this blog's question:
If you could attend a dinner party with any five other people - alive or dead...

The job looks pretty cool, laid back people, ideal. We'll see once I start.
Let's hope 2008 continues on this high!
If I could get a little sunshine that would make everything almost perfect.
