Christmas has been great so far. Went out for drinks with the guys from work on Friday and had a good night. Then my best friend and her husband came to visit on Saturday and we had a wander into town and got chinese on the evening.
Sunday we went to Bath and had a nice lunch and then met up with Pinklet. Had a wander round the shops and then had to get back as my friends had to start getting back oop north. Got dropped off by them in town and met up with TheDuke, who had been drinking since 2pm and Kristoph, who'd joined him about an hour later. I got there at about 5 so they were mildly tiddly already.
About an hour later we were joined by Pinklet and commenced with a pool rematch. TheDuke headed off after deciding he was probably a bit pissed and we moved on to the crown. Another beer or two and a rinse of the jukebox and we headed to the station to see Pinklet off before weaving our way back to good old Bemmie.
Monday TheDuke and I caught a train over to Bath to go to Pinklet's, where we grabbed a curry and watched DVD's. It was a really nice chilled night, thanks guys!
Christmas itself was a quiet affair - I only left the house to go feed my friend's bunny and my old housemate's cat while they're away. Yes, I'm nice like that. Have to look after the little furry people.
My housemate got bought the complete Blackadder on DVD so I ended up stoned and pissed, laughing my ass off to series 2 and 4.
Back at work today. Already getting annoyed with people who don't seem to understand that certain tasks take time, no matter how many times you come in and ask - I just have to let the computer process the files and there's nothing I can do to speed things up. Gah.
Oh and I lost the beard. Well, lost maybe isn't a good word. We fell out. I said some things I maybe shouldn't have and now the beard has left, threatening divorce proceedings. I'm left with a cold chin and a colder heart... Pics if I can be arsed at some point.
Not sure why my blog cut off half way through - been having some problems with wi-fi signal in the lounge so maybe it shat while posting. Anyway, edited to resume normal service.

I'm with you on the peace and quiet thing...i was back at work today and i swear i could kill someone. I was bored out of my tree, except people from other offices calling me to ask me to do things i am not capable of doing and then getting snotty. Sigh. I want to go back to bed!
