Had a good day so far, despite getting pretty drenched. Walked down to Temple Meads station and bought my tickets to Manchester next weekend for the meet - I'm really excited to be going and hope to meet some awesome people and possibly have a few more blue people afterwards.
I decided to buy a black ring for my (fairly) newly pieced lip and spent about half an hour trying to get the bar into the ring, dropped it several times and had to resort to standing in the kitchen with a mirror and a pair of scissors in the ring to open it up enough to get the bar in. Fun.
I also decided to buy 'I am Legend' the sci-fi vampire book by Richard Matheson after reading about it online. So far it's fucking awesome. I didn't realise that it was the book behind the Charlton Heston film 'The Omega man'. Apparently they're going to make it into a film again, this time with Will Smith... oh dear.
That made me think of the White Zombie track called 'I am legend', which is one of my favourite Zombie songs, but alas! it was not on my ipod! One rip of my cd later and I'm listening to 'I am legend' whilst reading 'I am legend' and enjoying a beer. Bliss.
Work has been shit - problems abound and I even got a call today to say that a storm had knocked the power out and the backup generator failed to kick in. I, for one, am not surprised, but it means getting to work early on monday to sort it out. Toss.
Meeting Madneil tonight for a few drinks while he's stuck in Brizzle. Going to the Bierkeller if anyone is around to join, just hope to fuck I don't bump into an ex in there...

as for the lip ring, thast exactly how i used to have to help my brotehr put his in, with the scissors and everything... was always difficult.
The I am legend film looks pretty good to be honest, not all will smith films are bad. Think of Enemy of the state, that was awesome! I didn't know it was a book, i may have to get it now, and have a read before i see the film!
