Well I'm on day two of my three days off and I'm a bit bored to be honest.
Yesterday I took a walk into town and considered having my lip pierced again... still undecided. I mentioned it while round at a friend's house a while back and his brother said, "yeah, you keep convincing yourself you're young!" which made me feel pretty old. I'm 33 next month... yikes. Also if I got it done my current job wouldn't care but if I wanted to change job it might have an impact, but I guess I could always take it out again right? I have a tendency to get ink or piercings at low points in my life as they make me feel better and the only piercing I wear at the moment is my nose and I just don't feel weird enough!
I really want to get some more ink done but I haven't got a clear design in my head yet and also not enough money. Soon though...

I've been trying to do some more writing for the nanowrimo, and going ok, but not as much output as I wanted. Still, I'm seven chapters in and halfway through eight, so not too bad. Last night I went to a nanowrimo meet up, but couldn't see anyone so sat on my own, had a beer and churned out a chapter. Then my friend E and her sister came to meet me, so more beers and food followed. It was only after we'd finished eating that E noticed the table next to us had about 8 people sat around it writing. Doh. I couldn't really go over at that point because I was with my friends but they're having another meet on Sunday so if I go to that at least I know some faces to look out for.

I'm supposed to be meeting a friend tonight but haven't heard back from her - she may flake on me.
With that in mind - the people who mentioned drinks, (I'm looking at you Pinklet and Kristoph,) I'm up for something either tomorrow or Saturday if you're around. Of course the invitation extends to anyone else who wishes to do the beverage thing too. (It'd help if you were local but if you want to travel let me know...)
