What a great weekend.
Went out for drinks on Fri with D, who sent me a text just as I was leaving work asking if I wanted a pint. Good timing!
Saturday I went into town, bought my housemate a birthday card & present, then went to the pub with my laptop and did some writing. Had a few drinks and then went over to E's house. Her friend Kate was over for the weekend. We went for pizza at the hen & chicken & another drink or two then went back and proceeded to go through 4 bottles of red between the 3 of us and dance around E's living room like twats. E's new boyfriend turned up & he was really nice.
Met the three of them for breakfast at cafe sazz on Sunday morning, which is becoming a regular thing. Went home, got a call from my friend B asking if I fancied going for a walk so we took a stroll over to Ashton Court which was very autumnal.
Finally last night I went to see Alexisonfire at the academy. Totally awesome gig, but I'm a bit bruised this morning. Unfortunately I lost my wallet too, so got to ring and see if it got handed in. But other than that slight mishap, I had an excellent weekend and I'm off work this week from Wednesday, so only a 2 day week!
*Edit* My wallet got handed in, which is cool, but whoever found it decided to keep the cash in it. Also I rang my bank and cancelled my card, which I will now get back but will have to wait 3 working days to get.
