So I met up with a few of the SGUK'ers last night and what a top bunch they were. We had a few drinkies in the Apple, with various comments being passed as to the cheesiness of various ciders, which is why I'm glad I stuck to San Miguel.
After that was a pizza in Renatos and then King Billy called us from across the road. As is my usual way in the King Billy I got everyone around the pool table. Many games were played. Some were won, some were lost, but by the end of it I couldn't see straight enough to pot anything, even though earlier in the night I'd finished one game off by downing the last ball and the black in quick succession.
We headed back to the Dukes after grabbing more sustenance from a nearby vendor and had more beer while watching Father Ted. I decided that I'd probably had enough at this point and said goodbye to everyone and left. For some reason I walked out of the front door and turned in the exact opposite direction to the way we'd come, thereby ending up on Gloucester road. I walked down there for a minute before realising I was heading away from town, and thus home.
Anyway I managed to get home eventually and hope to repeat the experience soon.

Was good to meet you, i imagine the whole thing will be repeated in the fairly near future.... less of the cheesey cider tho, i'm sticking to the Strawberry pear!
