I'm off work today after catching a cold from a guy who left on Friday. Been feeling a bit crap all weekend. Ah well, it means I've had today off, watching Heroes, (awesome,) and generally dicking about on the interweb.

Had all the managers from our stores down last Thurs and Fri, so got to catch up with some of those guys and try and arrange a messy pissed weekend in Cambridge with our manager from there who is a top bloke and looks like wolverine. (How could you not make friends with someone who looks like wolverine?)

Also met a nice young lady who works in our Edinburgh store and we spent most of the (free) works meal laughing at each other. Always fun.
I managed to speak to our manageress from Chester a little bit (although not as much as I would have liked...) and she actually restored my faith in the possibility of meeting a girl that I would want to go out with a little bit, by being rather attractive and cool and into similar music to me, which is something of an oddity in itself. She added me on Facebook today and MSN, so we've been chatting for a while. We decided we were going to elope to Canada, (in fun,) so we'll see how that goes.
