So I went to the St. George fun day and had a bit of a skate, although it was pretty hard because the park was rammed with skaters, bmx'ers and kids on scooters etc. (No rollerbladers though...)
Anyway, last Thurs when I met up with E, I also met one of her friends, S. S and I share the same sense of humour so got on really well and have sent a few emails back & forth over the last couple of days, mostly talking bollocks to make each other laugh.
Anyway, it was S that told me about the St George thing so we agreed to meet up there. I also called a couple of my skating mates. One was in London until Tues, but the guy from work that I skate with came along.
So inbetween skating, I sat with S and we chatted. At one point we got on to the subject of boyfriends/girlfriends etc. We'd added each other on Myspazz and Facebook and her Facebook profile said she was no longer in a relationship - not that it mattered because I just thought of her as a friend. Anyway we were talking about BF's/GF's and I said "all I need to do now is find another willing woman," to which she replied, "well, if I didn't have a BF I'd be up your trousers like a rat up a drainpipe!" I love it when women are honest like that, so I said, "If you didn't have a BF, I'd let you!"
Anyway after the skate day thing we all decided to head off and she invited me back to hers for some food. On the way back in the car (I can't remember how it came up,) at some point she said, "I'm actually quite gutted that I've got a BF because you're so cool." (I swear I'm not making that up,) which made me feel better about myself than I have in a while.
So we got back and talked about books and films and had her home cooked leek and potato soup, (which was excellent,) and talked some more and then her BF came over. I sat trying to figure out at what point I should head off - not because anything had happened, but more so I didn't leave straight after he got there, making it possibly look a bit dodgy, and also not to leave it too long so I wasn't playing gooseberry. I think I stayed about another 10 mins and talked to them both and then made my excuses.
So now I like one girl who seems quite tactile with me but apparently likes some other guy that she's never met, my landlady has admitted to having a thing for me, (as well as constantly telling me how she's desperate to get and another girl told me she was sorry she had a BF, otherwise I'd be looking for my pants.
I've had some luck with girls I like liking me back in the past but at the minute things are pretty complicated. Oh well at least they're interesting.
Oh, and the 'not smoking' thing didn't take. I smoked yesterday, then decided I would quit today and have already had one, but that was due to a slight issue I was having that caused a minor panic attack. Oh well.
