First off, academia blows HUGE loads. 
Seriously, I like it, but I'm definitely a weirdo in the pack because I do have interests OUTSIDE of work that take a significant amount of time AWAY from work. Some of those people make me sick! I know what it is, it's people who think they're better than other people. They deserve knuckle sandwiches. 
So, I broke down today and got CDs! I got the Postal Service to listen to something nice and calming. I also got Jay-Z's Black Album and Kanye West... sweet.
Two days until I can go back to get my ears stretched again...
OH, today I got a picture of the little champion! He's so cute and everyone's so proud of him!
