Whee.. I had a fun night. It started off pretty boring because I had to go do laundry, but after that it was a blast. Kim's best friend Anna is in town for a little while before she moves to Montral, and we invited her over for supper. She's a great gal.. Always so much fun to hang out with her. Super smart (Masters in Art History and Curatorship, and on her way to do her PhD).. cute.. fun.. just one of those genuinely great people. She was in Australia for the past year and a half doing her Master's, so we haven't seen her in a while. Too bad she's going to MTL and not staying here! Although at least this way we have a place to crash if we want to go for a visit.

Anyhoo.. I made us all supper (because I'm the uber-chef!) and it turned out super tasty. I made a new recipe that was really simple, but amazingly tasty (aren't those the best?). And I made a green salad to go along with it. Plus I was drinking beer while I was cooking, which always (read: usually) makes the evening go by with a bit better flow.

Anna asked to see some of my old projects from school, which I haven't looked at since the classes ended. It was weird to be showing them to a friend who hadn't ever seen any of my "art" before, but she seemed really impressed. Foosh-foosh-foosh (that's the sound of my head inflating)

But yeah, just one of those great evenings with good friends, and good food. As cheesy as that sounds.. Especially nice on a Thursday night to put me in a bouncy mood for Friday.
