As of Monday I am starting a new diet, the low carb vegetarian diet, for the first 2 weeks I will be on a carb detox of only 20grams of carbs a day... This is a massive change for me as normally every meal i eat comes with potatoes or pasta. I have a new cook book and am quite looking forward to trying it out. I will post pictures and share cooking ideas if anyone is interested?

I'm obviously a proponent of the vegan diet - beans and brown rice are great as they have loads of protein (essential for strength, which is kind of important for you!) without the fat and with enough spices are delicious. Carbs are needed for energy, so don't avoid them altogether!
