To be an honest n3rd I have a school girl crush on Amanda Tapping, especially since her recent show 'Sanctuary' on SciFi. For those who are unprivileged enough to not know who she is or what she looks like, indulge yourself;
As you can see, she is quite well built, physically speaking. As for her personality, it is bubbly but at the same time intelligent and composed when speaking with fans. I have never met her personally, but since she is now apart of another SciFi show, I am sure ComicCon will be happy to have her return again
As for the reason I am posting; HD is a scam right now, if you don't understand what I am talking about then check the average HD camera and you will realize that 1080i/p is not adapted much in the filming realm right now (mostly due to lack of perfection) but if you want proof, then grab a BluRay player and a recent HD movie (like the Incredible Hulk or Iron Man for best results) they are only in 720. Why? Because 1080i/p would be so magnificent that it would ruin movies and TV shows as we know it, imagine being able to see every spec of makeup, and every digital editing. It wouldn't be pretty. However, I could care less, I just don't like it when I read or hear things like 'HD is the future' when we are unable to even go to the next step for fear of making a simple pimple editing on a TV show noticeable by even the youngest mind (seeing as how almost everyone owns an HD TV, maybe only max at 720, but still HD) Anyway, that was how I felt today, just annoyed with everyone wanting to run out and make sure they have an HD TV. HOWEVER, if you are wondering then what the point of even making/buying a 1080i/p TV is because video games are able to go up to the highest HD setting (mainly because graphics are not affected by real world problems). Are they really 1080? No, because our highest graphic engine is JUST good enough to make 720 a reasonable outlook for purchasing a game system just to make your TV useful
