I am having the worst time in my life.
My puppy is very ill and needs a surgery.
He is so sad and sleeping and it breaks my heart to see this
This is such a horrible situation. I moved to LA county and here I am with my little puppy.
Last week, Sunday at 10 PM at night he was very ill and I took him to the ER.
He got a gum infection and the ER charged me $500.
This Sunday, he got very sick at 9 PM. So again, I had to take him to the ER instead of a regular vet.
This time they charged me $700 for x-rays and blood work, just to find out his little stomach is filled with rocks!!!!! He has about twenty rocks in there, they are not moving and he needs a surgery asap.
This ER wanted $5000!!!! But I do not have that kind of money
If I were rich, I would pay this in a heart beat.
So the next day a friend who works for a dog rescue told me about this Mission hospital.
We went there last night, waited for 4 hours to be seen, and they confirmed that the surgery is indeed needed. ASAP. Right now.
Their price is $1750, which is really low for this kind of surgery and included a 2 night stay, bloodwork and everything related. But where do I get $1750? I spent all my money I had at the ER!!
I have no family in this country and no real friends that would lend me money.
I got friends, but not real ones who would be willing to lend
In times like these I wish I lived in my own country, because my family and true friends would help me out and lend me the money, because they know I would pay them back. Always. But that's a price you pay if you move abroad. On your own....
My rescue friend is reaching out to the organizations for a financial help and we will see if we are successful. I hope we are. My puppy doesn't deserve this. He is only a baby, 4 months old
I still have the nintendo stuff for sale if anyone was interested.
