Last night was amazing.
We waited in line for 6 hours so I could be in front. Not only so I could see the band really well (I am only 5 3), but also because I have a habit of passing out because of the heat when I'm not close to an open source of air.
So like I said, we waited in line all that time, then they let the fan club all go in first. Needless to say, I was a little bit pissed... But we met this guy and his sister in line, they were pretty fucking cool. Johnny and Meagan, and they saved us a spot once they got in. I was behind Meagan, so I could see everything! Only one person back, and she was shorter than me, so it wasn't a big deal.
The first band was kind of horrible. I had the bassist in front of me, who only played the top string through the entire set. All in all, I think they were a bunch of dorks.
During that set, this fat girl (That was no where to be seen in our line!) was next to me. I had no problem with her at first, then she opened her stupid mouth. "Why is everyone pushing?! This is so stupid." At that point I looked at her and said (because no one was more uncomfortable then me at that point) "You are at a concert, and you are up front where everyone else wants to be, get used to it." She then says to me: "I've gone to concerts before, I am used to it." Then I wondered to myself why she would even say anything... The best part was she turned to her friends, whom I was squished against, and started talking about me, hahaha I turned to her and I said "You know I can hear you right?", and started laughing in her face.
They weren't too happy about that, and tried to shove me out of my spot, but I had Johnny on the other side of me, who was an ex marine.
When Davey Havok finally walked on stage I went weak in the knees. I am such a little girl still when it comes to him, but he is my dream guy... god I am such a loser. He wasn't wearing any makeup last night, and I LOVE when he doesn't wear makeup.
I was off to the left of the stage, so I had Hunter in front of me, and he is awesome. It was quite the difference from watching the first bands bassist to watching Hunter who is pretty amazing. Davey had a box that he would stand on in front of us, and at a few points he made eye contact with me, and I am pretty sure I just stood there with a look of awe on my face, like an idiot. Hahaha, he probably thought I was a creeper and he was waiting for my to jump the barricade and attack him.
But now Davey Havok knows I exist, and thats enough for me. When the show was over, Hunter threw his pick and it just so happened to fall right down my shirt
So now I have Hunter's pick.
All in all it was a great night of music and eye candy (Well the eye candy was only on stage, the crowd was pretty hideous.), and I didn't pass out!
I have black marker all over my face from sleeping on my hand, so I am going to take a shower then go back to bed.
