Blog homework: Share a favorite recipe!

Hi there) Decided to do a SG homework and this is the hardest one) Just because cooking it`s totally not mine)

Last 4 years I always was too busy and couldn`t find time for normal cooking. So my usual food was snacks or fast food.
My favorite recipe is very easy cause it doesn`t take much time. It`s soup with meatballs. I like it so much because my problem is overeating. This soup very light, so I don`t have heaviness in my stomach.

We need: A Pan ( of course), one small carrot, a half of onion, 3 potatoes, dill/parsley optionally, bay leaf.

For meatballs I take: 1 chicken breast, egg, pepper, salt, semolina.

LET`S COOK!)

-First I put a pan with 2/3 of water on fire.

I always use a lot of water cause I know myself. I can easily loose time if I open Instagram)

- Cut onion on small pieces and rub carrot on grater. Throw them in water immediately. Keep waiting till the moment water start to boil.

-As I waiting, I prepare our meatballs. Cut breast on smaller pieces, throw it in blender. Add salt, pepper (a lot of!! I like spicy food). Egg and one tablespoon of semolina to keep our meatballs in the form of BALL :D Blend it.

-Cut potato on pieces and add them when water starts to boil.

-Checking social networks. Lost in time. Notice cat who tries to eat spicy blended meat. Remember about my soup.

-Check potato. If it`s soft-add some salt optionally ( I also don`t like salty food) If U add salt when potato isn`t boiled enough, it`ll takese more time to become soft.

-Start to add meatballs. I take a teaspoon cause I don`t like when meatballs are big. It also will take a less time to cook them.

-I put a spoon in hot water then take some meat. Hot spoot won`t allow meat to stuck in. Also it will make a form of our ball. Put in water. It always swim away out of spoon by itself)) keep adding till the end of our resourses) Add parsley or dill...or BOTH.

-Keep boiling near 10 min.

-Turn off fire. Add bay leaf. Cover it and leave for some time. (Depends how hungry U R)

Bless U ;)

Nice! Dill is wonderful with chicken. Have you ever tried tarragon? Just a tiny pinch gives buttery taste without the fat and calories.
