The photoshoot/set recipe!

All of you are here everyday or as much as your life rithym let you do it, looking through a lot of beautiful ladies, with awesome sets, where they look stunning, most of them creative sets or really making a description about the lady who appears on it but have you ever thought about what's needed for those amazing photos?

It just came to my mind because in the last days I've read a comment congratulating a photographer and the photographer answer was something like:

"Oh, thank you so much to have in mind the most important part of a photoshoot... THE PHOTOGRAPHER"

I'm agree that the photographers are a really important part to get a shoot done, NO DOUBT about that but hey, it always depend. You could be the most amazing photographer walking down this planet but if you get the wrong model the photoshoot wouldn't look the same as it would if you get a model who is really able to pose or look fine in front of the camera. In the other hand you could have the best model ever but if you use your camera like a 5 years would (and probably this one is even better than you) the photoshoot would honestly look like crap.

Conclusion: To be a photographer is not something that you get from the books, you have to be naturally talented (let's say that photographers do really have a special gifted point of view) and after that maybe learning more from books, internet, another photographers or any source that you want to use plus practice would make you even better.

Here you got some of the SG photographers who from my point of view are really into it:

@lavezzaro

@gemmaedwardsuk

@darryldarko

@milloux

And this list could be totally endless! fortunately here we have some really talented people and some of them that are getting better and better.

What about the models? as I said with the photographers, there's people who can be really good looking, but if you don't know how to pose of course it's gonna make the difference, do you think standing in front of the camera is that easy? it isn't. Whatever, you can also find people that are literally not born to model even if they try hard, then you have people as well who never thought about doing it but working hard in getting better just help them to reach a nice level. Once again, practice and enjoying it!

I think with the models there's not need to write a list as we have all the ladies on here relly working hard and doing their best.

But is not just about the model and the photographer, is about the balance between them, the location you choose for the set, the little details on it. So I would like people to think twice before considering themselves the IMPORTANT part of anything and think first about everything that is involved with their work.

In this particular one, honestly the set was not the best but the girl is beautiful and worth it so that's actually what people liked about it, she deserved it. There's just one last thing to say:

"There's people who talk a lot but don't really say anything"

Now is the time to write different points of view guys so feel free to answer! and thanks once again for reading all this long stuff that I use to write :)

Love y'all xoxo

I think we're all in agreement really! :) I've had shoots where the make-up came out so awful i'd rather I hadn't used a make-up artist at all, because it really can ruin a shoot when it's not right.

Interesting stuff! I think there have to be a special chemistry going on between a photographer and a model. Both sides can help each other feeling well and secure, especially if you don't know each other from daily life. And that's the usual situation when one has a shooting. It can be really intimate and for that reason also dangerous ground. If there is a bigger team then it's something else. You have to have a guide. Btw what i like about SG is not about perfection but creativity and a different perspective. Some sets look just great but they lack a kind of amateurish authenticity. Going too Pro is not the way a SG set should be. But that's just my opinion.
