I have this friend of mine who is a really cool, sweet chinese lady, she just ordered some really traditional stuff and she wanted to shoot with that so... yep! we went to the forest and had some fun together and here are some of the results! I think we're all in agreement really! :) I've had shoots where the make-up came out so awful i'd rather I hadn't used a make-up artist at all, because it really can ruin a shoot when it's not right.

Interesting stuff! I think there have to be a special chemistry going on between a photographer and a model. Both sides can help each other feeling well and secure, especially if you don't know each other from daily life. And that's the usual situation when one has a shooting. It can be really intimate and for that reason also dangerous ground. If there is a bigger team then it's something else. You have to have a guide. Btw what i like about SG is not about perfection but creativity and a different perspective. Some sets look just great but they lack a kind of amateurish authenticity. Going too Pro is not the way a SG set should be. But that's just my opinion.
