Last night i witnessed a guy jump off the wagon. He had been in recovery for 16 years. Fucking crazy. He's not a close friend or anything but a guy who works at the place next to my work. I've known him for 5 years and seeing him all fucked up was highly disturbing. I know too much about his history. After much thought, I'm thinking that if he's still a mess by Sunday then I'll call his AA friends.

16 years is a long time.
