I'm surprised no one told me earlier, but as I thought from the beginning, Shepard Fairey is a turd burger... always knew something was rotten in Denmark with that ass.
Apparently the peon of -appropriation-, an art form which is based on the concept of borrowing images or works in order to say something, is crying about being parodied by artist Baxter Orr. He (Fairey) is even bringing in the lawyers....
Marcel Duchamp is probably rolling in his grave and laughing. It's is obvious Shepard never took a single art history class in his life, shame on you RISD... I wish Yasumasa Morimura would parody that douche.
In other art news, I will be showing for the CCACA in Davis, Calfornia from the 1st-3rd of May at the Second Street Galley (713 2nd St.). I should be showing two of my hanging pieces, but I might only have one... haven't decided, the space isn't the largest.
I'll take photos if i don't get blitzed out of my skull.
