Fewer and fewer of my people (including me, apparently) are posting blogs. Come back!! Don't go giving me reasons to check this thing less often each day.

Lots of improvements going on, to my apartment and my building, as we speak. I've been slowly redesigning/refurnishing my living room pretty much all summer, and it should all be over with this weekend. Lots of simplification and de-cluttering were the agenda. I can actually picture the exact people in my life who are going to say, "Wow. Really clean lines." Sounds ghey and all, I know.

Some time this month I'm planning on taking a personal retreat for a few days upstate. I've never done anything like this. But I have things I need to get done that I absolutely can't sit still to do at home, or otherwise with any distractions. So I'm praying to all the gods that I can actually handle accomplishing something when holed up in a cabin in the woods.
