I couldn't have had a better July 4th weekend. Barbecue and a penthouse party, and a Goth club on the 4th, sleeping and chillaxing in front of movies on a rainy Saturday, and then getting crazy with Nefaria and LolaBlu and friends last night. Lots of fun+lots of relaxation=quality 3-day weekend.
I'm convinced that the Friday-start 3 day weekend is the way to go. Maybe this isn't news to you. Since the 3-day holiday weekend that goes until Monday is actually law, it's time to write your rep in Congress about switching that around so we have more opportunities to get wasted when we want to "celebrate" President's Day or Veteran's Day or whatever. Who's with me?
