I'm declaring myself the king of getting face-value-or-below tickets to sold-out concerts on the night of the show. My birthday gift to myself was successful attempt at getting into the Police concert last night at Madison Square Garden. Great show. As a 3-piece with a bass-playing frontman, they don't move around much, but the musicianship was stellar, they played the entire night in costume, and the whole thing was one big hit-fest.
And I just wish I had video of the hundred or so zombies in the Halloween Parade last night who danced a choreographed number to Thriller. Fantastic!!
