Anyone else accidentally play porn for an audience at work today?

Fortunately, they couldn't see it, and by the grace of gawd the sound on the video was way low. But there it was, on my laptop that had been hooked up to speakers.

My weeklong stay in Philthadelphia this week would have been lame as warm beer in July if it hadn't been for my drinks with some of the local SG gawgeousness last night.

I just saw The Bravery do one of their sold out shows. Friggin' choice! I love their album, and their show was definitely a show. The lead singer is so full of Elvis and Morrissey, each member is a total rockstar in his own way/mind, the renditions of the songs were spot-on. They ended with an outstanding cover of INXS' "Don't Change", whose unmistakable intro...

Ever recognize someone on the subway, but hesitate to say anything because you think you once tried to make out with them in a bar?

Yeah, me neither.

Hey, dude. Sorry I missed your call. I shut my phone off after the show started. I also quit calling people because I grew tired of being rejected.
stella_marie:
actually, that happened to me 3 times. but it was always the same guy. we were walking back to the school campus when i was in england and kissing for a while. he stopped kissing me, seriously looked me in the eyes, and said "you have the biggest knockers ive ever seen." needless to say, i walked myself home the rest of the way. he earned the nickname 'knockers boy' and every time my friend said he was there, she had to point him out to me.

I've got a spare ticket to The Bravery on Sunday night. Who wants it?

(and will you put out?)

My girlfriend would probably go to see the Bravery. But she's not allowed to put out. Sorry. frown

i was shocked at the spot we were at today... its in Columbus, and called the "Hoover Dam"-- though its not even close to the actual. had it been earlier in the day, that very location would have been sunny and not shadowed by the huge wall beside me.
i'll go back.

and yes... ha ha! now that you mention it... the blood DOES look like puke and volcano rocks. ha!

Back from my weeklong vacation in Japan. Woohoo!
Give me some time. I'll soon have all my photos up on a website, and a nice fat entry in the Japanophiles group.

Brief summary:
-Definitely the most efficient, well-thought-out, orderly society anywhere. There's no chaos whatsoever. Really weird, but why can't we have that?
-Nothing to do in Tokyo but shop, eat & drink, and walk...

I'm leaving tomorrow morning fora weeklong visit to Mars. surreal

I'm gonna come back with all sorts of ideas on how you've got your shit all wrong and backasswards. New York will seem third-world (although that's not news to some). And at that point I'll probably be an even bigger gadget- and clothing-junkie than I am now.

In the Japanophiles group on this very here porn...
