Hey SG land! How are things with you all?
I just want to share a few photos of my long weekend on the road with Melissa. We had an absolute blast. We logged just under 800 miles (1287 Km) on our 4 day trip. We left her place in NE Illinois and headed West. We spent Friday night in Moline, IL. We stayed in Prairie du Chein, WI Saturday night and La Crosse, WI Sunday night. On the way home Monday, we managed to avoid most of the rain that was blanketing pretty much all of southern Wisconsin. We enjoyed some amazing roads and incredible scenery in Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin. We saw some beautiful sunsets. We were living life at our own pace all weekend and totally enjoying each other's company. All we really know how to do is have fun together.

I couldn't have done this if I had tried. She is actually 4 steps above me here. I was just snapping photos and got lucky with the way it turned out like she was resting her arm on my shoulder.

This one is on our way home Monday evening when we stopped to gas up one last time in Elkhorn, WI.
I am so very happy and so blessed that I met this amazing woman. She makes my heart smile. I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.
