Hey everybody!
I'm happy to be a member of this wonderful community. I have met amazing people here and I am thankful for that, especially now. This virus has put us all in a horrible situation. Please take it seriously and limit your contact with other people by physically distancing. I don't want to get sick. I don't want to get my friends sick. I don't want to see any of my friends getting sick from somebody else.
I only have two real passions in life, Harleys and playing pool. Living in Wisconsin the riding season is 5 good months and maybe a few good days besides. To keep me out of trouble, haha, I play fall/winter pool leagues 3 nights a week. They all run into March and sometimes April. This damn virus cut them all short. I was thinking today that right now my city tournaments would have been going on as well. It has been 6 weeks since I have played and I am seriously missing it. Three of my teammates have tables at home. One of them is in his 70's, one is in his 60's and the other one is in his late 20's and has 3 kids. Tony, the youngest guy, invited me over a few weeks ago and I declined his invitation because we were already on lockdown and I didn't want to infect anyone else if I unknowingly had it. Knock on wood, I am still well. I have been home from work for the past 5 weeks. I know that eventually this will all end, I hope. Summer league is still a possibility. It's just Sundays, but I am keeping my fingers crossed that I can play.
Please stay safe and healthy my friends. Peace!
A very good friend of mine took this picture at a state tournament in Green Bay last year.
