By time of today, I think I've met Vic. He's the fellow pictured on the cover of United Abominations (NB: The link is from Megadeth.com, there, I just cut/pasted it.)

What does Vic mean, to me? I regard the character as his being an expressive archetype, such that has been developed of the phenomenon, Megadeth. I consider that the characterization of Vic, at a given work of the band, Megadeth, it must be indicative of sentiment in context with the expression. That said, I like the new colors they've given ole' Vic -- not just a pop icon, however off-the-beat -- rather, I think, a cultural archetype, Vic.

It doesn't look like I'm up for writing anything with anymuch soul behind it, right now. If they'd paint Vic on a tour in a burned-up Siberia, I'd be right there beside him.

Alright, some more personal shytte.

I've been making another go at the trilogy identified as The Divine Comedy -- Inferno, Purgatorio, and Paradisio, authored (originally in Latin, I think) by Dante Aligheri. This time, I'm going to put the study onto a definite pause, until I might have learned enough of Latin grammar as to work my way though the original texts to the work (dictionary in-hand, no doubt). In a translation, it does not carry the same weight as I'm certain that the original language to the work would.

So, I'd call that some personal shytte.

After some lyrics in the Megadeth song, A tout le monde, perhaps I might start studying French. If Dave Mustaine can make a statement in the French language -- a statement, about which I find a sense of such uncommonly profound respect, as that which I find to the song denoted -- well, then, perhaps I can find a way to respect France.

With the launch of that rhetorical mortar, I'll end this.

ah.
well. beyond the door is living my life, the way i want to/need to live it.
the key is currently in the hands of my parents.
the door is moving out, suppose.
which they won't let me do... even though i have the money and the place.
something about "not subsidizing failure."
right.
