Well I suppose I should update.
Met an old friend the other night at a bar. He offered me a job making 50k a year. The downside is that it would be extensive travel with the possibility of being gone 3 months at a time.
The good news is that withing a year I could be making 85k a year.
I will miss the girl but I don't see much of a choice. It is a great opportunity so I fear I must take it.

does that mean you are gonna take the job? thats a hell of alot of money, not sure anybody could pass that up. what you gonna be doing?
